Today, ERONet celebrates the resilience and power of women in Lamwo District, including both refugee women and those in host communities who are rebuilding their lives after years of conflict and hardship.
In Palabek Refugee Settlement, where over 85% of refugees are women and children, and across local villages, women face immense challenges — from gender-based violence and limited education access to economic instability. Yet, they continue to lead their families and communities with extraordinary courage and determination.
At ERONet, we stand with these women every day through:
🔸 Vocational & Livelihood Training: Equipping women with skills in regenerative agriculture, tailoring, and business to foster economic independence.
🔸 Education & Advocacy: Raising awareness about human rights, violence prevention, and gender equality to challenge systemic injustice.
🔸 Health & Well-being Support: Running health education campaigns, including HIV/AIDS prevention, menstrual health, and maternal care.
🔸 Climate Resilience & Sustainability: Teaching sustainable farming and environmental stewardship to ensure long-term community prosperity.
By working with both refugee and host community women, ERONet bridges divides, promotes social cohesion, and nurtures collective growth — empowering women to not only survive but thrive.
✨ When rural women rise, communities flourish. Today, we celebrate their unwavering spirit and recommit ourselves to building a future where every woman can live with dignity, opportunity, and hope.
